Task 15: why is sound so important

Why is sound so important?

Sound Is used in film to establish tone, atmosphere and to help give the audiences clues about the plot, characters or to identity the genre of the film. it is also used to help create suspense and realism for the viewer.
Sound
  • keeps the audience interested
  • allows you to tell the genre
  • Makes the atmosphere of the setting clear
  • eliminates elements of confusion
