Task 4, how an opening sequence can attract the audience.

A title opening sequence can both turn off an audience and also attract the audience in a positive way. One way in which a title opening sequence can attract an audience is the fact that big stars can be credited, making the audience feel more inclined to enjoy the film due to the fact that their favourite film stars, or popular film stars are staring in it.

Another way in which a title opening sequence can attract the audience is the fact that if the title opening sequence is a narrative opening sequence, and the story starts off good, it immediately sets the tone for the rest of the film, ultimately enhancing the audiences viewing experience.

Finally another way in which the opening sequence can attract the audience is through the music used. If the music is good and the audience likes it, they are going to feel more inclined to enjoy the film that they are watching.

However, in the opening of a film, audiences can also be turned off if the title opening sequence isn't good at all. For example if the music is distasteful and bad, its going to start off on the back foot of getting people immersed in the film experience.
