What is genre?

Genre means category or type.
In film genre is created by using different products that have similar features.
You can recognise genre in the title sequence of a movie from things such as:

• soundtrack
• font
• images

and even just by recognising an actor who apears is a cretain film genre.

This one of the Transformer movies. This is one of my favourtie sci-fi movies where as alot of high technology equipment has been used to design half of the charcaters. The other half consists of real people.

 This movies target audicance is aimed at young women. The teenage lifestyle creates the genre of the movie.
